We run various boat trips into the Limestone Mines, the Dudley Tunnel and around the local canals. We are located at Todd's End just off the Birmingham New Road (A4123) - DY1 4SB

45 Minute Trip

Experience over 420 million years of history in 45 minutes Discover not just 420 million years of incredible history, but also fascinating insights into what made our world what it is today... embracing geology, archaeology, engineering, sociology and economics… All in just 45 minutes.

Please note that normally, boats run hourly, on the hour.
However, at busy periods we operate at 30 or 15 minute intervals throughout the day. Under three’s free.

Through Dudley Tunnel

Discover a fabulous hidden world right beneath your feet! This tour gives you the opportunity to travel the full 2888m length of the mighty Dudley Tunnel. You’ll get the chance to experience the traditional art of ‘legging’ – where boats were propelled through the tunnels using ‘leg power’.

The 2 hour through tunnel trips usually run once a month, apart from January, November and December. The trips take place in the first week of the month.

Two Tunnel Trip

A great day out. 2 tunnels, 2 lock flight tours. Embark on this spectacular 6 hour voyage and you’ll enjoy a fascinating tour right through the heart of the Black Country, taking in both the Dudley and Netherton Tunnels.

The 6 hour 2 Tunnels & 2 Locks Tour tunnel trips usually operate around four times a year during the summer months. The trips take place in the first week of the month.
